About Us

Camille Estes Camille Estes - A shiny badge on her sleeve and six-shooters on her hips, don’t be surprised to see Camille “Remind-me-later-where-are-my-keys-don’t-forget-to-move-
your-car-it’s-four-o’clock” Estes running around the store hollerin’, “There’s a new sheriff in town!” That’s right folks, Camille runs the show, no more hacky-sackin’ around.
Josh Thompson Josh Thompson basically does it all at Fleet Feet Louisville, as he has been with us for 6 years now. It is not uncommon to find Josh helping upwards of 3 customers at one time on a busy Saturday morning while others are yo-yoing around in the back. Probably what Josh is most noted for, though, is his accuracy at Gatorade golf. Josh works hard, but he plays hard, too!
Jen Alessandro  Jen Alessandro could run Fleet Feet Louisville if she so desired. This bio could end here, but it doesn’t. A favorite amongst the running group, she is usually bouncing around Fleet Feet Saturday and Sunday mornings. Jen often claims her mantra for life is, “If you bring the ingredients, I’ll make the salsa!”
Kevin “Baby-Cakes” Alessandro  Meet Kevin “Baby-Cakes” Alessandro. Full-time job: something with The March of Dimes. Member and coordinator of the Fleet Feet – Brooks Elite Development Racing team, Kevin can be found lurking around Fleet Feet on the occasional weekend or weeknight. He puts his hours in at “the Feet” to counter the cable bill at his house.
Erika Fairweather  Erika Fairweather is anything but fair-weather. She’s a rough, tough shoe salesperson that won’t take “I can’t be fit for shoes!” as an answer. By day she disguises as a teacher but on evenings and weekends she’s a shoe shark. But don’t let Storm’s (as she is affectionately referred to in the classroom) reputation precede her, she’s a softie at heart and her forecast is always bright, fair at worst.
Josh Anna Josh Anna – His weekend name is Tater Salad; he likes to be called Josh Anna on the job. Joining the force in the summer of ’07, Fleet Feet expects big things in this young gun’s future. A student at Bellarmine University studying acrobatics, Josh enjoys climbing the shelves in the back. It’s not unlikely to find Tater Salad walking on his hands to entertain young people in the store.
Melanie Knowles Melanie Knowles - Melanie "Knowles" a lot about food, but she’s learning more and more about shoes each day. Wolverine is her given Fleet Feet name because of her tenacious ungiveup-ability; bunions, AB-ductory twist, plantar problems…Melanie cries, “I’m up for the challenge!”
Laura Ward Laura Ward - Laura knows what she wants and she’s determined to find out what kind of shoes you need.
 Howard Whitman
Howard Whitman - Fleet Feet is the place “where everybody knows your name;” or Howard knows everybody’s name; or everybody knows Howard’s name…whichever is correct one thing is for sure: Howard Whitman is Fleet Feet Louisville’s “Norm Peterson.” If Howard’s not in the store spending a lazy afternoon he can probably be seen with his harem running the streets of Louisville in flame or flower-patterned pants.

Nick, Nick, Nick…words can’t describe this little fella’. They say he used to be a force with which to be reckoned, but I don’t buy it. If family stock is anything to judge by, Nick’s calm, long-circuited, gentle demeanor is flourishing just as planned.

And a special shout-out to those that have paved the way making it easy on guys like myself…names like Brian Dugan, Eric Hack, Bobby Curtis echo of made up shoe components…who can forget Mike Horan’s uncanny skills to always bring the best gift at the Christmas party…Curtis Persinger, James Doaty and their heat packing track skills…Shaun Bolger the pouch maker…Matt “The Road” Hargleroad…and the man who started it all…Jim Estes
