Dean Kutz is remembered as one of the finest jockeys in the world. In 1984, Dean was struck with kidney failure and his sister donated one of her own kidneys. Dean continued his career and went on to win top standings at premier race tracks. World famous jockey Pat Day was Dean’s closest friend and on September 19th, will celebrate Dean’s life and all of those who have said “yes” to organ and tissue donation as the race’s Honorary Chair.

Prizes will be awarded to top runners in 12 age categories for each gender
