Fleet Feet Sports Training Run/Walk

Saturday, February 13th at 9:00 a.m. at Hogan’s Fountain in Cherokee Park. The first 800 runners will receive a pair Snowman Shuffle cotton running gloves. Those who register after the first 800 will receive a pair of gloves on a first come, first serve basis.

The Snowman Shuffle 6k is the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix, a series of three races in December, January and February. Enter all three and receive a Polar Bear Grand Prix T-shirt, FREE!!! For more information, go the the event listing for the Polar Bear Grand Prix.

Heart Sole and Glove Run/Walk 5K, sponsored by UK Health & Wellness. Details are as follows:

 

9:30 am Kids Fun Dash

 

10:00 am 5K begins

 

$15 pre-registration and $20 day of race. (Kids Fun Run is FREE.)

 

First 100 registrants will receive a free pair of winter running gloves

 

Part of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge

This morning, we will be meeting at Iroquios Park to do some hill training in preparation for the Mini-Marathon. The "hilliest" portion of the Mini-Marathon is through Iroquios Park so if you can complete this training run, you will be better prepared for Mini-Marathon in April! 

Planned mileage: 7 miles

Meet at Iroquios Park, at the Amphitheatre before 8:00am ready to go!
