Santa Sprint and Stroll

The Santa Sprint and Stroll is a 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) run and walk or a 1 mile walk. The course is flat and runs along historic Frankfort Avenue in Crescent Hill and Clifton. The Courier-Journal has noted that it is “more festive than the run-of-the mill5K,” attracting both serious runners and holiday merrymakers.

Saturday, December 13th, 9:00 a.m. at Hogan’s Fountain in Cherokee Park. The first 800 entrants will receive a Reindeer Romp Holiday t-shirt. Those who register after the first 800 will receive a shirt on a first come, first serve basis. All entrants must bring a new, unwrapped toy or apparel, preferably for a 12-15 year old, with them to receive their race packet. Without a toy, bring $10.00. All proceeds and toys will go to the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
