Summer Speed Series

 The Summer Speed Series is a 6 week program for runners who would like to further develop or improve upon their current speed. The training will include group, track workouts and education on the basics of getting faster. The training will be specifically geared toward lowering your current pace. Workouts begin on June 13th and run through July 19th. The cost of the series is $75 and will include:

  • Organized track workouts
  • A choice of morning or evening workouts: 6 AM & 6 PM
  • A supplemental training schedule for the other 6 days of the week, with variations and suggestions for those currently training at a variety of weekly mileages and intensities
  • A welcoming, community atmosphere with runners of all abilities. We encourage any and all paces to participate; from 4 to 14 minute milers!
  • Weekly email newsletters with expert tips and advice
  • Vendor sponsored runs with samples as well as product information sessions
  • Guidance from two, well-seasoned running coaches: Rob DelViscio and Solomon Bennett
  • Shoe "wear tests" with top performance footwear brands
  • Coaches available any time during workouts and via email
  • Hydration provided for every group run
  • A 3200 meter timed race on the track to put all your hard to work to use and measure your success
